The Anglo-American multi-trillion dollar global military machine has been defended ad nauseum as essential to protecting free humanity and its progress into a promising future. In reality, it is a criminal facilitator obsessed with pilfering the world’s resources, consolidating power in the hands of feckless feeble minded, short-sighted degenerate financiers, and fostering an unprecedented level of interdependence and vulnerability in every nation brought within their sphere of influence.

One must wonder what sort of world we might be living in today if the trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives squandered in the last 10 years of war profiteering in the Middle East, were instead used to push real education, technological research and development, and real tangible technological progress.

Not only would we have sources of power that could replace dangerous and antiquated power plants like the 40 year old Fukushima reactors, but we as Americans might have a naval fleet actually capable of protecting the “free world” from real threats like the one unfolding off the east coast of Japan’s Fukushima prefecture.

Instead, the US fleet is stretched globally involved in a myriad of meddling geopolitical gambits, many of which were intentionally engineered and initiated by corporate-serving policy wonks in Washington and London. Even as Japan drowns, burns, melts-down, evacuates, and workers engage in suicide missions to mitigate the unprecedented disaster unfolding, Washington and London leadership obsessively pursue their pet projects worldwide.

The globalist International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) has been obsessing over Libya, and how to allocate military and civilian resources to aid the perpetuation of the US-backed Middle East conflagration, wringing their hands over the fact that their assets are already so thinly stretched between Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan. Considering the US State Department’s global network of recruiting, training, funding, equipping, and supporting contrived revolutions worldwide on behalf of globalist corporate interests, it shouldn’t surprise us how incompetent and ill-prepared it is to deal with its real duties – maintaining formal relations with foreign nations.

IISS policy wonks exhibit the entirety of their feckless unwarranted authority and gives a glimpse into an unprecedented misappropriation of the “international system’s” priorities. If you have resources, influence, and
authority, and aren’t using them to solve real problems, you belong behind bars for criminal negligence.

In this case, Japan, mired in a catastrophe that very well endangers the US itself is in dire need of any and all assistance, an effort the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should direct her entire, undivided attention to. Instead, Secretary Hillary Clinton is wasting time in Paris consorting with foreign backed Libyan rebels trying to overthrow the government of a sovereign nation.

The amount of extra-legal, unwarranted, un-Constitutional aid the US is rendering to pro-globalist projects around the world is almost as astronomical as America’s debt incurred through the criminal activity of the Federal Reserves’ economic-alchemists. A nation with the potential, population, and resources of America, led by what amounts to murderous-bullies, degenerate gamblers, and myopically obsessed megalomaniacs is a crime in and of itself.

The globocrats’ negligence over the decades, the squandering of the American people’s resources, human and otherwise, and the incessant meddling geopolitical social engineering has intentionally produced a world dependent on their “international system” and has doomed us to needlessly suffer disasters like the one in Japan. These are disasters that responsible, honorable men and women leading our nations could have prevented and most certainly could have ensured entire navies and armies would be on hand to deal with if all else failed.

The “international system” is a cancer of incompetence, self-destructive greed, that is leaving all of humanity naked and vulnerable to the real challenges of the future. It is a cancer that desperately needs to be excised with the utmost expediency. The twisting feeling we have in our guts when we wake up each morning, realizing the horrors unfolding in Japan and spreading in the winds off their coast is what a real humanitarian disaster looks and feels like, these are the challenges we as humanity face – not contrived rebellions in Libya, not climatology statistics cooked up by Belfer Center’s corporate sponsored shaman, and not fake wars funding 10 years of war profiteering.

These are real challenges that require real leadership, leadership we do not have, but desperately need. Each day these impostors remain in power the effects of their crimes become irreparably more profound. These are men that invent crimes and the criminals allegedly carrying them out to detract from the reality that they are the biggest criminals on earth – their crimes the most grievous against humanity. Their fumbling over Japan, while prioritizing their murderous pilfering and meddling across the Middle East, Central Asia and Northern Africa are unforgivable affirmations we must take to heart and act on now, today. The winds of change are literally coming and we are all about to pay the price for the globalists’ “misleadership.”

The answer is simple. Boycott and replace these corporations with local solutions, stop listening to their lies, stop voting for them entirely in their contrived version of “democracy” and write in names of men and women who truly deserve to be behind the levers of power no matter how unlikely their chance is to win. Become self-sufficient in food, water, power, security, media, and entertainment – pursue the education you were denied within the globalists’ sabotaged school systems. Our lives literally depend on moving on, and doing so without these parasites feeding off of us, posing as the source of civilization when all they do is feed off of civilization.

Some thought we should just be over and done with the whole matter and it should have been left to the Parliament to decide. Many others agreed with the President, that he was right and this particular matter was up to the people to decide. The current government and parliament have indeed no longer the trust of most of the people. A decision like this should not be left to the tiny minority of the political class.

It would be the Icelandic people, who with their tax payments have to foot the bill, not for just a few years but for decades, possibly generations to come. Our children will have to pay long after we and the current Parliamentarians have retired from work  for whatever is left of the debt, a debt which wasn´t incurred by us the ordinary Icelanders but by a small elite of super rich and super reckless.

To be sure the conditions this time around are quite a bit more favorable. Refusing to take on the debt without conditions has gotten us into a far better position than last year, when the President once before didn´t sign the Ice-Save law at the behalf of a petition signed by about a third of the Icelandic population of voting age.

The question is now for the ordinary Icelander to make up his or her mind

-either about standing on the principle of justice “we won´t pay collectively as a people the debts a handful of rich, corrupt and greedy private  individuals have incurred”. (The people who hold this position hope that the matter can be brought in front of an international court, as many law experts believe that Iceland doesn´t have a legal obligation to pay)

-or about being practical “we pay no matter the justice of the matter so we won´t be punished by the powerful financial interests, that can prevent all trade between Iceland and other countries and starve our economy” (the people who hold this position believe that the damage to the Icelandic economy will be far greater, if we prolong the process than if we just pay, no matter how unjust the demands are)

It´s a tough decision to make. But I agree with the Icelandic President it is a decision that should be made by the Icelandic people.  That he trusts the Icelandic people to do so is a  sign of respect for the people and for democracy.

Not all of Iceland´s political, media or intellectual elites have this kind of respect.

I´ve heard quite a few negative reactions to the Presidents´decision by media pundits. Some say he undermines the rule of Parliament by this decisions. Someone else said that now anybody could make a media circus about any law or an internet circus of collecting signers for a petition and then any laws made by the Parliament will be repealed.

In my opinion people who talk and think like this have a really bad opinion of ordinary people and a far too good one of themselves.  They actually aren´t democratic minded at all.

Democracy for them is mob-rule. They see ordinary people is irrational, easily persuaded by demagogues playing on their emotions with no brain at all.  If you think like this, why not suggest to abolish democracy altogether. If you believe that ordinary people cannot come to reasonable decisions, if they get sufficient and reasonable information, then why do you believe this same ordinary people should have voting rights at all. Because, if they are just swayed by irrationality and demagogy then they will also only vote for demagogues, who play on their irrational dumb feelings.

This, of course, means that all politicians who have been voted into office are nothing more than demagogues.

I believe in democracy with all my heart. I believe that ordinarypeople like myself and all the people around me can make reasonable decisions, if we get reasonably good information.

The reason why election campaigns have turned into idiotic media circuses all over the world and why short-cut phrases and flash-light faces have become more important than the substance of political ideas and practical proposes is not the fault of the people, but the fault of clever manipulators in the media and advertisement industry who have found ways to dumb down political debates using catch-phrases and demonisation of  those who oppose the current power-elites and their corruptive structures.

We live in a propagandocracy, not in a democracy, because of the disdain our elites, especially the self-proclaimed intellectual elites, have for ordinary people.

And it is because of this propagandocratic structures created by the financial oligarchy in close cooperation with our “intellectual elites” that the world as a whole is in such a bad shape both economically and politically.

Disrespect for people´s abilitiy to come to reasonable decisions about their own life and the political entity in which they have to live, leads to disrespect for people´s dignity and for their life as a whole.

I do not know how the people here will decide, because it really is a tough decision, but I will respect whatever is decided even if  it is different from what I would decide.

It would be an act of great courage to stand up to the financial world oligarchy, knowing full well, how powerful they are. But doing so, would also set a sign for many other small or less powerful nations who have been exploited by those destructive financial elites. If we go ahead to challenge the financial world system and their “right” to transfer more and more of real wealth from nations and ordinary people into their power-greedy hands, it would set an example others might follow.

On the other hand, there has been a lot of media talk in the last few months here in Iceland about our supposedly past “megalomania”. We have as a nation tried to play in the big league, while we are just so tiny. We should keep our collective heads down and remind ourselves that we are small and never make the same mistake again as the bankers did when they over-extended the system so much.

Of course this argument I see as a kind of propaganda, it puts up part-truths and generalizes them.

Oh yes, our banking system had become far, far too big for our country, but this is not some especially Icelandic megalomania´s fault. Indeed exactly the tiniest nations all over the world have the most bloated banking systems, from some tiny islands in the Pacific to tiny states in the middle of Europe like Luxembourg,  Liechtenstein and Monaco. They are used by the richest among the financial elites and by the largest banks as tax-havens and money-laundry stations. Nicholas Shaxson writes about this in his book Treasure Islands.

However, Iceland happens to be more than just tiny blot in the ocean or a just as tiny blot in the middle of the continent sandwiched between larger countries. Iceland happens to be a real country with valuable resources, both energy resources like hydro-electric energy as well as thermal energy resources  and more than likely a rather large oil-field in Icelandic waters as well as fishing resources.

After Iceland became independent from Danish control the country had used its resources to build up its infrastructure and become from one of the most backward and poor countries in Europe to one of the richest (per capita). Iceland could do this because the banks and therefor the financial system was owned by the public and not by private bankers. The political elite was persuaded to privatize the banking system in 2003. Afterwards the banks expanded far beyond their borders, an enormous bubble occurred inside the country and foreigners used the Icelandic currency for speculation purposes. Icelandic bankers and retailers were greedy speculators and manipulators of money, but not more so than British or American or Dutch or German ones.

The speculations by foreigners and Icelanders combined with the fall of Lehman Brothers led to the bankruptcy of the Icelandic banks and now Icelandic resources together with the Icelandic industry and the financial institutions are being taken over by foreigners. Basically the country is recolonized this time by British and German and in case of energy resources also by Canadian financial interests.

I´ve no idea how Icelanders will decide as people. In the past Icelanders have more often than not been more practically oriented than principled. When the Little Ice Age made the growing of grains impossible, Icelanders realized they needed a regular trade line with Norway, and the Norwegian King didn´t want to support this difficult trade without Icelanders giving up their Independence and so they did. When Iceland became Danish through a royal marriage, the country was held in disdain by their colonial masters and the people not treated too well. But still the resistance was slow. It was a soft political resistance not a revolutionary or violent one. In the end it was during the British occupation during WWII that Icelanders took the opportunity to declare independence from Denmark. Icelanders used their strategic position in the North Atlantic to gain American support against British interests in their fishing policies. In return they had to house a large American base.

The past, however, doesn´t always determine the future, there could be some surprises in store. For me it´s rather interesting to see, how people are trying to make up their minds. Democracy has become an exciting exercise of thinking

Child placement agencies, foster parents, RTCs (Residential Treatment Centers) and Therapeutic Foster Homes get paid a certain amount of money each day for taking care of a foster child. The amount of money they get paid depends on a level of care system. The more difficult the child or the more problems that child has, the more money you get.

A child at the basic level of care is worth about 17 dollars a day where as a child in the highest level of care could be worth as much as a 1000 dollars a day. This puts the incentive on diagnosing children with behavior problems to justify raising their level of care. A child on psychiatric drugs is worth more than a child without problems.

It is not uncommon for a foster child to be placed on many different psychotropic drugs at the same time. Some investigations have found children on as many as 13 mind altering drugs prescribed by a psychiatrists at one time.

These drugs include all categories of psychiatric drugs; antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anxiety medications, anticonvulsants medications, etc.

The SSRI drugs are commons such as Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac, etc. Also a number of these children described taking Risperdal, Zyprexa, Geodon and other new generation antipsychotics which have been linked to weight gain, obesity and diabetes.

Foster children are unfortunates without parents and families, not a medical population—not victims of a disease or epidemic. I would add here that increasingly, foster children are children “kidnapped” by government—by child protective services and family courts, their parents having had the audacity to resist the psychiatric labeling and drugging and having been charged with “medical neglect” for their audacity.

Like children in US public schools 10 to 15 percent of whom are psychiatrically labeled and drugged, foster children are medically, physically normal, having only emotional, educational, and social needs to be met. As of 2007, 5.4 million US schoolchildren were said to have so-called ADHD, the majority of them on addictive, dangerous, and deadly amphetamines stunting their growth, their brain size (denied by the manufacturers and their experts), causing psychoses leading to suicide and homicide, and a seven-fold increase in sudden cardiac death.

Pharmaceutical companies, professors (bought and paid for) in every medical school in the US, psychiatrists, practicing physicians of all kinds (pediatricians, neurologists, child neurologists, family practitioners), and carefully cultivated patient advocacy groups, invent diseases out of thin air, and grow them into epidemics and pandemics, all needing drugs, all getting drugs. Just to be sure, each new “patient” in this new age of medicine gets not one but several “disease” labels and with them not one but several drugs, so when there is a grave side effect or death the drug, still profitable, still on patent, is not besmirched, but can go on reaping billions annually as do the antipsychotics—drugs that are virtually unfit for human consumption but which are pushed to any and all by the FDA—no longer a protector of the people in any sense of the word.

Childhood “bipolar disorder,” non-existent in the mid-nineties, has ballooned, inexplicably, to 3-4 million in the US today, none with an objective physical abnormality by which to prove its presence, none with an abnormality to make normal—in this way no different than any other psychiatric label.
And what of “adult ADHD,” which has only risen in our midst within the past 2-3 years, already at 3-4 million. What incredible epidemics. We see no such growth of numbers in real diseases, some of which even disappear, as did polio with the Salk and Sabin vaccines. We see no such growth from year to year of diabetes, cancers or rates of pneumococcal meningitis, for example. Only in psychiatry.
There was no ADD or ADHD when I was in public school in the forties, and there was none when I graduated from medical school in 1960 or trained in neurology and child neurology in the early sixties. There were no “invented” diseases then. Big Pharma in league with psychiatry had not yet commandeered all of medicine, decreeing that all would be “ill,” “sick,” “chemically imbalanced” and in need of their drugs—if not this one, that one, if not one, two, seven, fifteen.

Look among the little children in foster care. Look among soldiers and veterans of the middle east conflicts, victims of required, ordered, mandated, psychiatric labeling and drugging. And they too are dying from these drugs for their “mental health” and psychiatric “disorders” none of which can be seen, felt, scanned or objectively proven. Who is immune?

Yes, the perversion of medicine is now, nearly complete. We need only look at the amoral, anti-scientific, targeting of foster children, not because they are ill, sick, or diseased in any medical sense, but because they are helpless and because, as Texas has shown us, they can be labeled and drugged with impunity. And yes, they “age-out” of foster care but do they ever escape the labels and drugs? It seems they do not.
Congress, the Senate and judiciary say nothing because they entertain the Big Pharma lobbying corps daily, passing “mental health” parity (declaring but never proving that mental illness equates to physical illness) and other such laws as are necessary to assure that our “mental health” (if no other kind of health care)–that which comes with their labeling and drugging–is available, by court order if need be, or whenever a psychiatrist utters “he or she is a danger to self and others.”

They target mainly, but not exclusively, the poor, minority, and disenfranchised among us, giving legal if not medical or scientific legitimacy to their for-profit labeling and drugging against which, once targeted, the “patient” has no legal recourse or protection. Persons enamored of psychology and psychiatry for themselves and their families are another group soon to find themselves in the psychiatric-pharmaceutical snare; soon to learn the hard way–when it is too late.

They await all of us. Their self serving “epidemiology” out of Harvard University has it that 55 percent of Americans suffer a serious mental illness at some time in their life [Weekly Standard, June 27, 2005]. All of us labeled and drugged are to be psychiatric “patients” in perpetuity.

In a 1976 slip of the tongue, Henry Gadsden, CEO of pharmaceutical giant, Merck, told Fortune magazine of his distress that their potential markets had been limited to sick people—people proven to have a disease. Suggesting he’d rather Merck be more like chewing gum maker Wrigley’s, Gadsden said it had long been his dream to make drugs for healthy people. Because then, he went on, Merck would be able to “sell to everyone.”

And so, it seems, Mr. Gadsden (and the rest of his industry), having perverted psychiatry and the rest of the medical profession, is, in 3 short decades, having his way with us.

I know that there are people who are paid to target even the most harmless opposition groups. I know that from experience, real life experiences with spooks targeting the tiny local group I was a member of, while I still lived in Germany. The group belonged to the socialist party of Germany, the repentant ex-communists.
German internal intelligence was constantly monitoring the party, this was known and admitted.
I thought they would monitor the radicals, the black block people.
When a Verfassungsschutz guy then infiltrated our tiny group of old pensioners and couple of young mothers, who talked about election campaigning and about the democracy deficit of Eastern Germany and that this was the reason for why socialism failed, I was stunned.
The infiltrator tried to get us to say something incriminating. He said we should dig up our weapons and start a revolution. What weapons? Did he think they were buried under the table of the pub we used as a monthly meeting place?
When found out the infiltrator didn´t even bother to deny his association with the German intelligence organization.
Two weeks later another spook targeted the tiny local left-wing paper my group supported. This time when the agent provocateur, said that we shouldn´t have a democracy, since it was not good enough. The whole group of writers and editor were “singing” the praise of democracy.
It was kind of funny, like a game that was played and everybody knew the rules.
But I felt cheated. For the first time I started to doubt western Germany´s democracy. They just had demonized Eastern German socialists as the worst monsters after the Nazis, exactly because of their inner spying system against all opposition groups or individuals and now the western German system did exactly the very same.
The double standards made me sick.

So yes, I know, that spooks exist and that they can target even the most harmless little people.

In two different incidences last Christmas after church a couple creepy guys approached me. One was saying that Jesus hates big buildings and the other one was talking about nuns being shot (with toy guns) and beautiful old churches being blown up in the Bosnian war, right after he had visited them. To me this seemed like indirect threats. But maybe the guys were just creepy, no spooks, I don´t know.

Yesterday another guy came to church who creeped me out a bit. He was alone inside for a while. He acted very stangely. Tonight before midnight mass I will walk through the church looking around, if he has left something that shouldn´t be there.

I don´t want to be paranoid, but sometimes I can´t help it.
I pray for time when we will not have to be afraid any more of false flag and when the times of lies is at an end, especially tonight I will pray.

German, French and British soldiers realized that night, that the so-called enemy was just as human as they are.

Afterwards the soldiers involved in the incidence were dispersed and the dehumanizing propaganda campaigns against the other side started for real. The war-mongering elites on all sides had become afraid, that their cannon-fodder might no longer follow orders unconditionally, no longer be useful tools or pawns in the elite´s grand “chess games”.
And so German soldiers, for instance, were described in British, French and later on American “news” outlets as cannibals, roasting Belgian babies.

After WWI those lies were discredited by historians from all sides. And still, the dehumanizing campaigns did leave traces of anti-German feelings in most British, French and American people. Even Chesterton, a British author, who had been to Germany and admired the better social conditions for working class and poor people there, couldn´t help his severe dislike for the “Prussian way”, expressing this in some of his short stories.

Then the propagandocratic efforts of certain intellectual elites started for real. They figured it wasn´t enough to just tell lies about the chosen “enemy”, lies which could be discredited later on, the lies needed to have a foundation of truth.

And so the Versailles treaty was used as a tool to ruin Germany´s economy. Reparation payments were so heavy they could barely be made. The Ruhr area, the industrial heart of Germany, was kept occupied and the German central bank was privatized as part of the treaty.
And this very same central bank then supported the foreign speculation with German currency. While the German government had indeed ordered the printing of money to counteract the lack of money caused by the reparation burdens, the main cause of the hyper-inflation was not the money-printing but the currency speculation.
When the German middle-class lost all their savings their turned politically more and more to the right-wing parties.

And while the allies took a hard-line at the democratic German Weimar Republic government, at the very same time British, French and American financiers supported Hitler and the rising Nazi party,the most racist political movement in Germany. The Nazis were filled with an ethnically motivated superiority complex and they promoted hatred of Jews as well as of Polish and Russian people.
When Hitler came to power French and British financiers ever supported his rearmament of Germany, just as German, American and British ultra-rich financiers a few decades earlier had supported all the anti-Czarist revolutionary parties in Russia, including and especially the Bolshevists.

And now two brutal and fanatical regimes were facing each other, while a just as fanatical elite in Britain and America were manipulating the “game”. And once again populations everywhere were taught hatred against each other, so their young men could be turned into cannon-fodder. Whole nations would be pawns in the “game”.

William Engdahl writes in “Halford MacKinder’s Necessary War”:

Poland was to serve the same broad aim of British geopolitical strategy as Munich had some months before, if less obviously so.
As far back as July 1936, Chamberlain’s predecessor as Prime Minister, Stanley Baldwin, had laid out to a group from the House of Lords, the policy for the coming European war. Baldwin, a director of Lothian’s Rhodes Trust, and a member of the inner circle of the Round Table, had told the Lords, “If there is any fighting in Europe to be done, I should like to see the Bolsheviks and the Nazis doing it.”

The true reason for WWI and WWII was the desire of British and British connected American elites to control the “Heartland” (Eastern Europe) and from there the European continent as a first step in controlling the whole world. A strong Germany and Russia were seen as obstacles to this aim, and Polland and rest of eastern European countries were seen as pawns.

The Nazis and the Bolsheviks were created by manipulation, their atrocities were welcomed, so they could serve as symbols to be hated by all the decent people the western manipulative power elites needed to fight for them.

If we do not understand this history, we are indeed “doomed to repeat it”.

We the people of all nations need to stop hating or fearing one another, we need to stop falling for manipulations and propaganda lies, we need to stop being pawns in political games, as individuals or as groups.

We, the religious or the secular people in the world, the peoples of Europe and the peoples America and Asia and Africa and of the Australian continent, we all have the same single desire to live and raise our families in peace.
We all want to live free from oppression and domination by those who want to control us and force their will on us.
We all want to live under conditions where we can meet our basic needs for food, clothe and shelter, as well as our psychological needs of being part of a community of people, where we are accepted and appreciated.
All our needs can be met without any central authorities or powerful elites. We know that and the elites know that, that´s why they keep on building pyramids of lies and trenches of war for us to divide and conquer us.

We, the people, need to come out of the trenches and see one another as human beings, just as those soldiers did on this special Christmas Eve in 1914.

And we should never get back into those trenches again.

Cuban-born journalist and author Alex Abella was allowed exclusive access inside the RAND Corporation to view their archives. What he discovered was a plot driven by mad scientists, behaviorists, and generals who were intent on starting world war three and fleecing the American people in the process. Once he was a skeptic on the subject of conspiracy theories and the new world order, but after his work with the RAND Corporation he is now convinced that this top secret think tank has been pulling the strings of American government for at least 60 years.

“We’re all the bastard children of RAND and we don’t even know it,” remarks Abella, as he charts how RAND started off as an organization centered around building new weapons for the military but ultimately expanded into politics, science, history and economics and was closely allied with the Ford, Rockefeller and Carnegie foundations. RAND’s decision in the 50′s to re-model the globe towards a new world order changed everything, with the development of “rational choice theory,” which turned people from being citizens into consumers, as rights and responsibilities were replaced with choices and people’s lives slowly came to be dominated not by integrity or what they stood for, but by what they spent their money on.

RAND’s ultimate goal was to have technocrats running every aspect of society in pursuit of a one world government that would be administered under “the rule of reason,” a ruthless world where efficiency was king and men were little more than machines, which is why RAND studied the social sciences because they were at a loss to work out how to deal with people and how human beings did not always act in their own predictable self-interests. There is no place for love, empathy or selflessness in the new world order that RAND and the Ford Foundation are working to create, and patriotism and altruism are adversarial to their aims.

Abella explains how RAND was instrumental in developing the strategy behind the use of nuclear weapons, and how they actively promoting nuking the entirety of Eastern Europe as well as China in case of problems in Western Europe, a policy that could easily have sparked off a catastrophic nuclear holocaust. RAND researchers believed that as long as 10 million Americans survived a nuclear war, the war was won.

Abella notes how RAND saw the United Nations as a template for one world government but that a new organization controlled by the U.S. would eventually supersede the UN and become the de facto world government, which is why RAND researchers such as John Williams advocated pre-emptive nuclear strikes on the Soviet Union, to make sure the United States would be the only country with the supreme power to impose its will on the rest of the world.

Speaking on the topic of false flag attacks, Abella notes that the staged Gulf of Tonkin attack and the planned Operation Northwoods false flag were both initially proposed in RAND documents, highlighting the total immorality with which RAND war games its scenarios, many of which are ethically repugnant in that they nonchalantly promote the genocide of entire populations with little regard for the consequences. Abella explains how RAND truly is a shadow government because it serves as a revolving door between the two, and how RAND is the cradle of the military-industrial complex and the birthplace of the technocratic elite that we are now fighting against.

Three days ago temperatures started to drop slightly and a storm has covered most of the country with a moderate layer of snow – except here in Reykjavik. We still are snow-free and just around zero. There is, however, a frost prognosis for the next few days.

But still, here in the capital of Iceland we might not have a white Christmas. Looking for that his year you´d better go to Italy (or to Florida or California maybe?).
Sure, the winter has just started, and we will get our share of cold later on, no doubt.

But I´ve seen this kind of strange difference in weather pattern between us and the rest of Europe before- some twenty years ago actually, only in reverse.

It was in the early 1990s, when political Europe started to fully get on the “Global Warming” train, while we had some of the heaviest snow winters in living memory of most Icelanders then.

At the time we lived in Dalvik, a small town in northern Iceland. On the picture to the left you can see what it looked like in those years (between January and May) about twice a week when we opened our front-door in the morning.
To dig ourselves out of the house and up to the surface, we then had to shovel the snow into a baby bath, and from there dump it into the big bath tub, where we eventually melted it with our hot-spring water.

Now there could be many reasons why we here in Iceland lag behind our neighbours to the south in warming or cooling weather patterns .
The most likely explanation is, that the ocean heats and cools a lot slower than the landmasses. It might take years before we who are living on an island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean catch up with the cooling period the rest of the world has started to experience right now, just like it took us years to catch up with “global warming”.

It´s interesting to see, however, that the level of CO2 has little to do with it.
After the volcanic eruption of Eyjarfjallajökull this year spread it´s ashes all over Europe all the way down to North Africa it should also have released enormous amounts of extra CO2 over the same area.
It surely didn´t warm up Europe or the rest of the globe.

There are those who say that the extra CO2 produced by the eruption is cancelled out by the ashes in the air which – combined with water vapor – could be the cause of a cooling cloud cover. But if this is so, what then would be the explanation for Europe´s record cold and snowy winter of last year – the year before the eruption?

Of course, the “Global Warming”-renamed “Climate Change”- community isn´t about to give up so easily in the face of logic or inconvenient facts.
The newest theory we are now being presented by the Icelandic branch of said community is, that the recent cooling is caused by the melting of the polar ice caps.
The “Global Warming” club is actually mainly populated by media people and by entertainers rather than by meteorologist and climatologists.
And therefor we heard a similar argument before, after the American branch of the club in cooperation with the Pentagon released the movie “The Day after Tomorrow”. Here they argued, that the melting ice of Greenland would change the salt content in the Mexican Gulf-stream, interrupting its flow and cause a sudden onset of a new ice-age in Northern Europe and North-America.
But once again:
If the Gulf-stream was interrupted or the melting ice was cooling the waters around us, wouldn´t Icelanders and Greenlanders notice it first?

But then, logic and actual truthful climate science are irrelevant for our elite policy makers, the frontmen politicians and the real powers behind the scenes. Facts and logic are also irrelevant for their duped fan club in the “green” grass-root movements.

The real goal the leading elite environmentalists has little to do with saving nature or the climate but everything with controlling populations all over the planet.
They are Malthusians with a deep disdain, even a hatred, for most of humanity.
As one of the founders of the elite “Club of Rome” put it so famously:

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill … All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

And here a quote from Maurice Strong, first Secretary General of the United Nations Environmental Program:

“What if a small group of these world leaders were to conclude the principal risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries?…In order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring this about?”

Maurice Strong´s UN agency was established in 1972 , an outgrowth of this agency became today´s “Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change” (IPCC).

In the hands of those elites environmentalism is only a tool of oppression – or class-warfare, if you prefer this term.
Their kind of environmentalism strives to restrict the rights of individuals to self-determination, the ability of communities, villages, towns, cities to serve the best interests of their citizens and it does away with national sovereignty.

In the real world environmental issues are not global but local concerns, which need to be tackled locally. For conditions are so very different in different parts of the world and often even in different parts of a single country. If more than one community is affected by an issue, like all the villages, towns and cities along a river, then those communities most negotiate for the common good of all concerned. But still, it´s not a global issue. The best solutions are always the ones found by those who are actually effected by them.

As for the “Global Warming” cult, I don´t think they can keep it up very much longer. They are rapidly running out of excuses for the cooling.

And in the matter of their credibility, they remind me of Reinhard Mey´s song from the late 1970s:
“Weil ich ein Metereologe bin”:

Here a metereologist laments that he is the laughing stock of his neighbours in town. He never got married, since no woman can take his dishonesty
-”Whoever first lies about the weather, can´t be trusted on anything else either”

We’ve seen behind the curtain, as the Fed waved its magic liquidity wand over Wall Street. Now it’s time to enlist this tool in the service of the people.

The Fed’s invisible hand first really became visible with the bailout of AIG. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in June 2009:

“Many of us were, shall we say, if not surprised, taken aback when the Fed had $80 billion to invest — to put into AIG just out of the blue. All of a sudden we wake up one morning and AIG has received $80 billion from the Fed. . . . So of course we’re saying, Where’s this money come from? ‘Oh, we have it. And not only that, we have more.’”

How much more — $800 billion? $8 trillion?

The stage magician smiles coyly and rolls up his sleeves to show that there is nothing in them. “Try $12.3 trillion,” he says.

That was the figure recently revealed for the Fed’s “emergency lending programs” to bail out the banks.

“$12.3 trillion of our taxpayer money!” shout the bemused spectators as pigeons emerge from the showman’s gloved hands. “We could have used that money to build roads and bridges, pay down the state’s debts, keep homeowners in their homes!”

“Not exactly tax money,” says the magician with his mysterious Mona Lisa smile. “When did you have $12.3 trillion in tax money sitting idle?”

Not only did he not use “tax money;” it seems he hardly used “money” at all. He just advanced numbers on a computer screen, amounting to credit against collateral, replacing the credit that would have been advanced by the money market before the Fatal Day the Money Market Died. According to CNNMoney –

“[T]he Federal Reserve made $9 trillion in overnight loans to major banks and Wall Street firms during the Wall Street crisis . . . . All the loans were backed by collateral and all were paid back with a very low interest rate to the Fed — an annual rate of between 0.5% to 3.5%. . . .

“In addition to the loan program for bond dealers, the data covered the Fed’s purchases of more than $1 trillion in mortgages, and spending to back consumer and small business loans, as well as commercial paper used to keep large corporations running. . . .

“Most of the special programs set up by the Fed in response to the crisis of 2008 have since expired, although it still holds close to $2 trillion in assets it purchased during that time. The Fed said it did not lose money on any of the transactions that have been closed, and that it does not expect to lose money on the assets it still holds.”

Or so it is reported in the media. . . .

The pigeons slip back up the sleeve from whence they came, a sleeve that was empty to start with.

The Central Bank as Lender of Last Resort

Where did the Fed get this remarkable power? Central banks are “lenders of last resort,” which means they are authorized to advance as much credit as the system requires. It’s all keystrokes on a computer, and the supply of this credit is limitless. According to Wikipedia:

“A lender of last resort is an institution willing to extend credit when no one else will. Originally the term referred to a reserve financial institution, most often the central bank of a country, that secured well-connected banks and other institutions that are too-big-to-fail against bankruptcy.”

Why is this backup necessary? Because, says Wikipedia matter-of-factly, “Due tofractional reserve banking, in aggregate, all lenders and borrowers are insolvent.” The entry called “fractional reserve banking” explains:

“The bank lends out some or most of the deposited funds, while still allowing all deposits to be withdrawn upon demand. Fractional reserve banking necessarily occurs when banks lend out funds received from deposit accounts, and is practiced by all modern commercial banks.”

All commercial banks are insolvent. They are unable to pay their debts when they come due, because they have double-counted their deposits. A less charitable word, if this hadn’t all been validated with legislation, might be “embezzlement.” The bankers took your money for safekeeping, promising you could have it back “on demand,” then borrowed it from the till to clear the checks of their borrowers. Modern banking is a massive shell game, and the banks are in a mad scramble to keep peas under the shells. If they don’t have the peas, they borrow them from other banks or the money market short-term, until they can come up with some longer-term source.

Ann Pettifor writes, “the banking system has been turned on its head, and become a borrowing machine.” Rather than lending us their money, they are borrowing from us and lending it back. Banks can borrow from each other at the fed funds rate of 0.2%. They get the very cheap credit and lend it to us as much more expensive credit.

They got away with this shell game until September 2008, when the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy triggered a run on the money markets. Panicked investors pulled their short-term money out, and the credit market suddenly froze. The credit lines on which businesses routinely operated froze too, causing bankruptcies, layoffs and general economic collapse.

The shell game would have been exposed for all to see, if the Federal Reserve had not stepped in and played its “lender of last resort” card. Quoting Wikipedia again:

“A lender of last resort serves as a stopgap to protect depositors, prevent widespread panic withdrawal, and otherwise avoid disruption in productive credit to the entire economy caused by the collapse of one or a handful of institutions. . . .

“In the United States the Federal Reserve serves as the lender of last resort to those institutions that cannot obtain credit elsewhere and the collapse of which would have serious implications for the economy. It took over this role from the private sector ‘clearing houses’ which operated during the Free Banking Era; whether public or private, the availability of liquidity was intended to prevent bank runs.

“. . . [T]his role is undertaken by the Bank of England in the United Kingdom (the central bank of the UK), in the Eurozone by the European Central Bank, in Switzerland by the Swiss National Bank, in Japan by the Bank of Japan and in Russia by the Central Bank of Russia.”

If all central banks do it, it must be okay, right? Or is it just evidence that the entire international banking scheme is sleight of hand? All lenders are insolvent and are kept in the game only by a lender-of-last-resort power given to central banks by central governments — given, in other words, by we-the-people. Yet we-the-people are denied access to this cornucopia, and are forced to pick up the tab for the banks. Most states are struggling with budget deficits, and some are close to insolvency. Why is the Fed’s magic wand not being waved over them?

QE3: Some Creative Proposals

According to financial blogger Edward Harrison, that might soon happen. He quotes a Bloomberg article by David Blanchflower, whom Harrison describes as “a former MPC [Monetary Policy Committee] member at the Bank of England but also an American-British dual citizen professor who is very plugged in at the Fed.” Blanchflower wrote on October 18:

“I was at the Fed last week in Washington for one of its occasional meetings with academics . . . .

“The Fed is especially concerned about unemployment and the weak housing market. . . .

“Quantitative easing remains the only economic show in town given that Congress and President Barack Obama have been cowed into inaction.

“Quantitative easing” (QE) involves central bank purchases with money created on a computer screen. Blanchflower asked:

“What will they buy? They are limited to only federally insured paper, which includes Treasuries and mortgage-backed securities insured by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. But they are also allowed to buy short-term municipal bonds, and given the difficulties faced by state and local governments, this may well be the route they choose, at least for some of the quantitative easing. Even if the Fed wanted to, it couldn’t buy other securities, such as corporate bonds, as it would require Congress’s approval, which won’t happen anytime soon.” [Emphasis added.]

You don’t need to understand all this financial jargon to pick up that a central banking insider who has sat in on the Fed’s meetings says that for the Fed’s next trick, it could and “may well” fund the bonds of local governments. Harrison comments:

“The Fed can legally buy as many municipal bonds as it wants withoutcongressional approval. . . . This is a big story. Blanchflower is essentially saying that the U.S. government can bail out both the housing market via Fannie and Freddie paper purchases and the state governments via Muni purchases. And, of course, the banks get to dump these assets onto the Fed who will hold them to maturity. I guarantee you this will have a very nice kick since it is the states where the biggest employment cuts are.”

A big story indeed, opening very interesting possibilities. The Fed could use its QE tool not just to buy existing assets but to fund future productivity and employment, stimulating the depressed economy the way Franklin Roosevelt did but without putting the nation in debt at high interest to a private banking cartel.

The Fed could, for example, buy special revenue bonds issued by the states to finance large-scale infrastructure projects. They might build a high-speed train system of the sort seen in Europe and Asia. The states could issue special revenue bonds at 0% or 0.5% interest to finance the project, which could be repaid with user fees generated by the finished railroad. The same could be done to build modern hospitals, develop water projects and alternative energy sources, and so forth. All this could be done at the same extremely low interest rates now afforded to the banks, saving the states enormous sums in taxes.

Wouldn’t that sort of program be inflationary though? Not under current conditions, says author Bill Baker in a recent post. He notes that over 95% of the money supply is created by bank lending, and that when credit is destroyed, the money supply shrinks. The first round of QE did not actually increase the money supply, because the money printed by the Fed was matched by the destruction of money caused by debt default and repayment. To replace the debt-money lost in a shrinking economy, the Fed has already elected to embark on a program of quantitative easing. The question addressed here is just where to aim the hose.

Closing the Social Security Gap

Another interesting idea for QE3 was proposed by Ted Schmidt, associate professor of economics at Buffalo State College. Writing in early November, Schmidt anticipated the cut in social security taxes now being debated in Congress. Worried observers see these cuts as the first step to dismantling social security, which will in the future be called “underfunded” and too expensive for the taxpayers to support. Schmidt notes, however, that social security is a major holder of federal government bonds. The Fed could finance a $400 billion tax cut in social security by buying bonds directly from the social security trust fund, allowing the fund to maintain its current level of benefits. Among other advantages of this sort of purchase:

“[I]t does not raise the gross national debt, because it simply transfers bonds from one government entity (the Social Security trust fund) to a semi-government entity (the Fed); and . . . it gives the Fed the extra ammo (treasury bonds) it will need when the time comes to restrain inflationary pressures and pull reserves out of the banking system. (It does this by selling bonds to banks.)”

Schmidt concludes: “Enough is enough, Dr. Bernanke! It’s time to inject the patient with money that gets into the hands of working people and small businesses.”

The Fed’s lender-of-last-resort power has so far been used only to keep rich bankers rich and the rest of the population in debt peonage, a parasitic and unsustainable endeavor. If this power were directed into projects that increased productivity and employment, it could become a sustainable and very useful tool. We the People do not need to remain subject to a semi-private central bank that was ostensibly empowered by our mandate. We can take our Money Power back.
